В американском космическом ведомстве считают, что с проблемой защиты от радиации в длительных космических полетах нужно бороться при помощи биологических средств.

«Проблема радиации не решается обшивкой или экранированием. Нужно больше биологических средств защиты», – отметил сотрудник NASA.

Американские специалисты пришли к такому заключению, работая над программой для облета Луны в течение 21 дня в 2020 году.

Как сообщают «РИА Новости», ранее многие отечественные и зарубежные ученые высказывали опасения по поводу возможности долгосрочных космических полетов без использования новых способов защиты от радиации.
