On behalf of the Organizing Committee, I am pleased to invite scientists from around the world to participate in the Workshop «Trends in Nanomechanics and Nanoengineering» on August 24–28, 2009 in Krasnoyarsk, Russia.

We plan to bring together leading scientists working in the field of nanostructure growth, specifically investigating of the properties and development of nanodevices.

The venue will be the Siberian Federal University. The university was founded in 2006 by the unification of several universities and institutions. It is the largest university in Siberia and one of the biggest universities in Russia. We plan a wide scientific and social program to bring together leaders and young scientists in the field of modern nanoscience and want to show you the modern city of Krasnoyarsk and the magnificent nature of Siberia. You will never forget Siberia, with its great rivers, beautiful mountains, and deep conifer woods.
